To confirm the interest regarding this new type of training are also the data of "Pure Gym", which through the analysis of Google searches, places the "12-3-30 treadmill workout" at the top of the list for the fitness trends emerging in 2023, with an interest that increased up 309% over the past year.
It is known that walking is a good activity, in fact, also the World Health Organization recommends walking at least 10,000 steps (about 7 km) every day.
Moreover, this workout is indicated both for those who approach physical activity for the first time, and those more experienced on rest days and it brings various benefits to our body.
Like all cardio activities, if combined with a healthy diet, walking regularly can help lose weight, reduce the body mass index and lower the blood glucose level by 11%.
Furthermore, through the stimulation and subsequent release of endorphins, walking helps improve the mood and reduce stress.
