STATES GENERAL OF FITNESS AND WELLNESS

The States General of Fitness and Wellness is an initiative launched during the 2023 edition whose purpose is to fill the gap detected in the national debate, bringing together all the strategic stakeholders in the industry to address key issues both current and future: an open, frank and honest debate to give new momentum to an industry that has over the last 15 years experienced complex dynamics and whose social, economic and cultural impact has often been underestimated by the national system.

The States General of Fitness and Wellness are back in 2024 too, with the development of new important industry issues better to direct investments from companies in the industry (e.g. Hospitality, Real Estate, Outdoor, Corporate Wellbeing). The topic of the 2024 edition of RiminiWellness is “One Wellness: wellness for all, always
and anywhere”, a clear reference to “One Health”, the approach to Health shared by all the international Institutions in the sector and based on the collaboration between various concerns with the common objective of ensuring people have access to Health at any time and anywhere in their lives.

The same principle applies to wellness, which should be accessible to all, anywhere and at any time in day-to-day life in order to be come a veritable lifestyle for people to adopt. The States General of Fitness and Wellness 2024 intend to investigate this issue further and highlight how the industry represented at RiminiWellness is crucial to determining not just individual wellness but also the prosperity of the community on the whole, at both the economic and the social level.

This year, the panels organised within the States General of Fitness and Wellness will concern the following issues:

- Hospitality/Real Estate ONE WELLNESS. The value of wellness in hospitality
- Gyms/Franchises ONE WELLNESS. The future gym, between human skills and digital technologies
- Corporate Wellbeing ONE WELLNESS. Wellbeing in the office and workplace
- Outdoor/Public settings ONE WELLNESS. Enjoying life in the community

The urgency of making health expenditure sustainable, faced with the rise in life expectancy; the awareness of citizens, who increasingly rate public administrators according to their ability to promote and guarantee a healthy lifestyle; increased competition between regions to attract investments and skills, which necessarily includes the quality of life people are offered.
