Next 30 May (Thursday) during the day of inauguration of RiminiWellness, from 3:30 to 5:30
pm, the Value of Sport Observatory will be hosting an event entitled “Exercise, wellness, growth: impacts and prospects”. The Observatory is the multi-stakeholder platform set up in 2022 by The European House – Ambrosetti and it has become a benchmark for discussion, analysis and strategic positioning in the world of sport in Italy and the revival of the exercise culture in regions and political agendas.
The Observatory was established to create and disseminate knowledge and awareness of the importance of sport for the Country with all key stakeholders in the sector and it aims to become a reference hub at the national level for the construction and discussion of innovative analyses, scenarios and impact assessments in the world of sport, and for drafting draft policies for the revival of the industry nationwide.
In the first two editions of the event, it brought together some of the biggest public and private concerns engaged in the world of sport in Italy and in the associated industries (CONI, CIP, Sport e Salute, Istituto per il Credito Sportivo among the institutional partners and Decathlon, FitActive, Generali, Matrix Fitness Italia, PepsiCo Italia and Sportium among private ones), in addition to Institutions and external experts, with an annual schedule comprising meetings behind closed doors and reported in the two strategic Reports published.
The contents produced were presented during two high-level Forums, organised at the Stadio Olimpico: the second edition of the event, which tool place on 12-13 February 2024, involved the main stakeholders in the nation’s world of sport, with over 250 participants on site and more than 130 connected via video, the attendance of 40 speakers, including Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, leading representatives of the Ministry of Health and of the
Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the 4 main Italian sport Institutions, members of Parliament, experts in statistics, medicine and science, sportsmen and women/former sportsmen and women, leading international sport government exponents, etc.
The Observatory event at RiminiWellness is a new opportunity for debate and discussion amid industry leaders and envisages the participation of major business stakeholders, associates and institutions in the extended ecosystem of sports and wellness/fitness at the national and international level.
