Healthy Cities WHO is present on all continents, in Europe 30 countries are members including Italy in which the city movement was born in 1995 and became an Association in 2001.
To date the network has more than 70 large, medium and small participating municipalities dimensions that share good practices to achieve the best level of health in their territories.
The reference models are the biopsychosocial one whose determinants of human health are both biological, psychological and social and that of One Health in which human, animal and environmental health are closely linked and interdependent.
